The majority of tools and components necessary for the training will be made available.Īrduino, the open source physical computing development platform, has contributed greatly to the recent growth of the tech arts community, giving artists and designers easy access to the tools necessary to develop robotics, sensors and electronic circuits in general. In addition to assistance with an individual project, participants will have access to the resources available in StudioXX’s electronics lab.
#ARDUINO MAX MSP HOW TO#
Demonstrations of new interfaces, like Kinect and Leap Motion will be presented.Īt the end of the training, participants will know how to plan the development of an interactive project, how to determine their technical requirements and will have mastered the vocabulary necessary to address technical design. We will also critically reflect on the fundamental principals of interactivity, such as Reality Based Interface and Natural User Interface.

There will be an introduction to programming concepts as well as a look at generative and automated audio-visual animations. Using the Arduino platform and MAX environment, participants will learn how to produce interactive media projects involving sensors, electronics, video projection and sound diffusion on multiple channels. This workshop is for those who want to learn production techniques in interactive media.
